The provider was growing fast on web and mobile platforms and had never independently tested its security. It also had no tested plan for responding to a breach.
What we did
- Performed vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of web, mobile and API assets.
- Reported findings by business risk, with clear remediation guidance for the engineering team.
- Assessed security maturity against NIST CSF and set a cyber roadmap.
- Developed incident response playbooks and ran a tabletop exercise with management and technical teams.
Outcome
Critical weaknesses were fixed before they could be exploited. Teams now know their roles in an incident, and leadership has a prioritised security roadmap.
